一针一线皆有历史，源远流长。这就是来自镇远县报京乡的“报京侗绣”。
Each needle and thread has a long history behind it. This is "Baojing Dong Embroidery" from Baojing Township of Zhenyuan County in Guizhou.
近日，贵州大学短视频《报京侗绣》获首届“高教社杯”高等学校（本科）“用外语讲中国故事”优秀短视频作品全国一等奖。
Recently, a short film, named "Baojing Dong Embroidery" produced by students of Guizhou University, won the national first prize of the "Higher Education Press Cup" in the "Undergraduate Students Telling Chinese Stories in Foreign Languages" Excellent Short Video Competition.
据悉，短片《报京侗绣》由贵州大学外语学院老师周杰、彭启英指导，2020级学生夏子玉代表团队制作。全国决赛前，该视频在贵州已获全省一等奖。短片展示了镇远县报京乡侗绣制作的完整过程，希望通过短片呼吁重振侗绣文化，传承侗绣传统文化。
This short film was made by Xia Ziyu and his teachers Zhou Jie and Peng Qiying from the foreign language school of Guizhou University. Before the final competition, the video had won the first prize in Guizhou. This film shows the entire process of how Baojing Dong embroidery is made by local villagers. Also, it implicitly calls for the revival of the Dong embroidery and traditional culture.

“高教社杯”高等学校（本科）“用外语讲中国故事”优秀短视频作品大赛由南京大学主办，意在让国际社会深入了解中国历史传统和文化故事。大赛共有来自北京、上海、广州、南京、福建、贵州等29个省（自治区、直辖市）的574所高校的2071件作品参赛。经过激烈角逐，贵州大学作品脱颖而出，荣获全国一等奖。
This competition was hosted by Nanjing University in order to make the international community have a better understanding about traditional Chinese history and culture. A total of 2,071 works from 574 universities in different areas, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Nanjing, and Guizhou participated in the competition. Through the fierce competition, the work of Guizhou University finally won the first prize in China.
据夏子玉介绍，报京侗绣是一项中国传统手工艺，起源于镇远县报京乡。清朝乾隆年间，报京侗绣曾作为贡品进贡。
Xia introduced that "Baojing Dong embroidery is a traditional Chinese handicraft originated from Baojing Township of Zhenyuan County." In the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, Dong embroidery was used as a tribute to the royal family.

Every stitch of Dong embroidery consists of traditional Dong culture and rich imagination of the Dong people. As the protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage is promoted, Baojing Dong embroidery grasps the opportunity to show vitality.
在报京村，绣娘邰木香成立的绣坊有效带动了当地上百人就业。2021年，坊内每位绣娘实现每月收入两千元。随着绣娘们将现代工艺融入传统侗绣之中，报京侗绣变得越来越受市场追捧。
In Baojing Village, Tai Muxiang's Embroidery Workshop has offered hundreds of jobs for local embroiderers. In 2021, the average income of every embroiderer woman in the workshop reached 2,000 yuan monthly. Combing modern crafts with traditional skills, Baojing Dong embroidery becomes more suitable for the market.
More and more young people from Baojing go to the workshop to learn Baojing Dong embroidery.
越来越多当地的年轻人参与到报京侗绣的学习中来。
